The Whitesboro Summer Track Program is affiliated with the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation (TAAF) and the States Games of America. The National Congress of State Games (NCSG) is a membership organization comprised of 31 Summer State Games and 10 Winter State Games organizations and a community-based member of the United States Olympic Committee. The NCSG is also the rights holder of the State Games of America, an Olympic-style event featuring competition between State Games medal winners (gold, silver, bronze) from across the nation.
The goals of Whitesboro Summer Track Program is to teach proper running, jumping, and throwing forms, instill self-confidence, promote an active and healthy lifestyle, have fun, and strive for excellence. Because of this philosophy, Whitesboro Summer Track Program was able to qualify 27 athletes in 36 events for the TAAF State Games of Texas of 2010.
